There are six free species of deer in Britain- PAY ATTENTION THIS IS IMPORTANT the mammoth Red Deer, the largest land mammal in Britain; the similar-looking but quite smaller Roe Deer, which are currently enjoying a rabbit-like population explosion; the Fallow Deer, that common spotted deer one typically sees in a park; and three Asiatic species introduced at the end of the nineteenth century: the Chinese Water Deer, SikaDeer, and Muntjac Deer. Tumblr is very educational, isn’t it?
