One of the three sets of ornamental gates, cast in Paris, erected at Hatfield House in Heretfordshire, England; on occasion of a visit from Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. 

   Hatfield House, a majestic Jacobean mansion, has a long and interesting history which I will relate at a later date.
